How to cook ?

Ingredients

  • 1 packet Vegit Aloo Bonda.
  • 200 ml hot water.
  • 3 tbsp maida.
  • 2 tbsp green chutney.
  • ½ cup mixed sprouts, steamed with salt.
  • 4 tbsp beaten curd.
  • ½ tsp coriander powder.
  • ½ tsp cumin powder.
  • 1 tsp chat masala.
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder.
  • 3 tbsp date chutney.
  • 3 tbsp nylon sev Salt to taste.
  • 1 packet besan slurry mix.
 

Method of Preparation

  • Add warm water to the Vegit Aloo Bonda Mix and keep aside for 5 minutes.
  • Add oil and 3 tbsp of the maida to the mixture and knead well.
  • Divide this mixture into 6 –8 equal portions.
  • Shape each portion into a flat, round tikki and deep fry in hot oil till it is golden brown.
  • Keep aside.
  • Mix the besan, water, onion, chilli powder and salt. Make small pakodas by deep frying the mixture.
  • To serve, place the fried tikkis on individual plates, put a couple of pakodas and 2 tbsp of mixed sprouts on each tikki.
  • Top with green chutney, little beaten curds, date chutney, all the masala powders, sev and salt.
