How to cook ?


  • 1 cup / 175gm basmati rice.
  • 1 tbsp/ 15gm clarified butter (ghee).
  • 2 bay leaves (tej patta).
  • 2 black cardamom (badi elaichi).
  • 4 cloves (laung).
  • 1”cinnamon (dalchini) stick.
  • 75 gm pav bhaji mix
  • 2 cups / 400 ml water.
  • Salt to taste.
  • 1 tbsp coriander (dhaniya).
  • Leaves, chopped.

Method of Preparation

  • Wash and soak the rice in plenty of water for 30 minutes.drain
  • Heat 1 tbsp clarified butter in a pan for 30 seconds; add bay leaves, black cardamom, cinnamom stick, cumin seeds and pav bhaji;stir-fry.
  • Add soak rice and coak for 10 seconds.
  • Add 2 cups water and salt to taste; bring to the boil. Cover and cook on low heat till the water evaporates or until rice is done.
  • Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
