How to cook ?

Ingredients

  • For Vegit Pav Bhaji
  •  
  • 1 pack Vegit Pav Bhaji Mix
  • 100 gms Tomato
  • 4 tbsp Olive Oil
  •  
  • For Pasta
  •  
  • 200 gms. Fuseli Pasta
  • ½ cup Sweet Corn Kernels
  • ¾ cup Mushrooms (chopped)
  • ½ cup French Beans (chopped)
  • ¾ cup Capsicum (chopped)
  • ½ cup Carrot (chopped)
  • ¾ cup Cauliflower (medium size)
  • 1 cup Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 & ½ tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • ½ cup Cheese (grated) plus 1 tbsp for garnishing
  • 1/3 cup Cream
  • ½ cup Milk
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • ½ tbsp Red Chili Powder (kashmiri / degi mirch)
  • ½ tbsp Sugar
  • ¼ tbsp Black Pepper Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Garlic Bread for Serving
 

Method of Preparation

  • Make one pack of Vegit Pav Bhaji as per the instructions on the pack. Replace butter with Olive Oil.
  • In large sauce pan/ patila heat water. Once water starts boiling add some salt, Fuseli Pasta and boil till it is done. Drain under cold water (to stop the cooking process), add ½ tbsp Olive Oil & toss properly.
  • In the mean time in another pan/kadhai heat 3 tbsp Olive oil, add chopped Mushrooms, French Beans, Capsicum, Carrot,
  • Cauliflower & Sweet Corn Kernels. Add salt & black pepper powder. Toss properly and cook covered for 5-7 minutes. Once done remove & set it aside.
  • Now in the same vessel (in which veggies were cooked) heat 3 tbsp Olive Oil and add grated Onions. Sauté for few minutes till they start changing colour, then add Ginger Garlic paste and continue stirring.
  • After a minute add very little water and keep stirring, after a minute add some water and sauté. Repeat this process for 3-4 times till the colour becomes light brown and proper blend.
  • Now add cooked Vegit Bhaji and cook for 3-4 minutes on high flame. Keep stirring to avoid burning.
  • Now add red chilly powder, sugar, little salt (if required, remember your cooked pasta, veggie & cheese will also have salt) and cook for another couple of minutes.
  • Now reduce the flame to low and then add grated cheese & cream, stir well and cook for few minutes till the cheese & cream is properly mixed in sauce & the colour becomes even light red.
  • Sauce is ready. Now add cooked veggies & pasta to this veggies, mix well and add milk. Bring it to boil.
  • Your Pasta in Pav Bhaji Sauce is ready. Garnish with grated cheese & serve with toasted Garlic Bread.
  • You can adjust the quantity of Chilies, Cheese & Cream as per your taste & choice.
