Honey Coated Potato Balls

This starter has an Asian flavour and is coated with honey to add to the sesame flavour. Deep fried, hot and crispy, it is a perfect party appetizer.

How to cook ?

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Vegit Aloo Mash.
  • 1 whole red dry chilli deseeded and broken into small pieces 150 ml hot water.
  • 1 tbsp oil .
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds.
  • ΒΌ cup honey.
  • 2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce.
  • Salt to taste.
 

Method of Preparation

  • Add water and salt to the Vegit Aloo Mash and stir well, keep aside for 10 minutes.
  • Divide into 15 equal portions.
  • Shape into balls.
  • Deep fry in hot oil till golden, drain and keep aside.
  • Heat 1 tbsp of oil, in a pan.
  • Add the sesame seeds, roast lightly, add dry red chilli pieces.
  • Add the honey and sweet chilli sauce and heat for 3-4 minutes on a low flame stirring continuously.
  • Add the fried balls and toss.
