Crispy Sabudana Pancakes

How to cook ?


  • 100 g Sabudana mix
  • 3 tbsp rice flour
  • 1/2 cup grated carrots
  • 3 tbsp finely chopped coriander
  • oil for cooking

Method of Preparation

  • Take the sabudana mix in a bowl and add 120 ml water to it.
  • Keep aside for about 20 mins.
  • Add the rice flour, carrots and coriander and mix well.
  • Divide the mixture into 5 equal portions and keep aside.
  • Grease a non stick tava lightly with oil.
  • Wet your fingers and spread a portion of the mix on the tava (griddle) to form a 100 mm. (4”) diameter thick circle.
  • Put on the gas and cook, using a little oil over a medium flame, till it turns golden brown in colour. Turn it over and cook on the other side.
  • Repeat with the remaining mix to make 4 more pancakes.Remember to cool the tava before putting the pancake on it.
  • *Serve hot with a chutney of your choice
