Commissioned a boiler based on Agro waste fuel. For power generation this has substituted FO/Diesel generators with turbines.
Planting 500 trees per annum in near by locations.
Development of "Green Belt" inside the factory by planting shrubs, flowers, grass & trees.
Minimization of waste in all processes through an Environment Management Programme.
Recycling water, BOPP, oil, etc.
Use of potato peels in production of wormi-compost which is used as replacement chemical fertilizer in the field.
Using cyclone for separation of dust particles from outgoing fuel gases in the boiler and thereby reducing discharge of dust particles going through the filter into the atmosphere to 50 ppm levels.

Proposed activities :

Replacing of CFCs by using vapour absorption machines which use steam as source of energy.
100% use of boiler-ash in brick production.
Redesigned incinerator to better treat hazardous effluents. Containing outgoing sawdust using a multi-clone separator. Reusing the sawdust for heat generation in the incinerator.
