Snacks are described as any food eaten outside of breakfast, lunch and dinner or as small items to replace traditional meals, the choice varies between countries and cultures.

While people in some cultures prefer savoury foods such as pretzels, crisp breads and fries / crisps, in others, people like to snack on sweeter tasting options such as sweet meats, yoghurts, fruit, biscuits, chocolate and fizzy drinks.

India with varied cultures and customs offer a plethora of Traditional Snacks and many variants of each snack. For Example the ubiquitous Samosa has its various cultural changes. Samosa in its various avatars looks perfectly at home on a silver salver, it graciously accepts a more proletarian existence, too. In fact, it is in the lanes and by-lanes of cities and towns, village and highway chai-shops along the length and breadth of the country, that one can truly appreciate the versatility of the samosa. There are the large, comfortably - plump North Indian varieties stuffed with potatoes, pomegranate and raisins, "the sweetness of the latter off-set by the characterful pungency of cumin. Stroll the narrow allies of Ahmedabad's Karanj area in the evenings and shops like "Bera Samosa" do a brisk business from the spicy mince-filled miniature triangles being fried in enormous works. Vegit Snack Mixes removes the drudgery in the preparation of Indian Snacks at Home or at Food Service Outlet. We are now extending the range of Vegit Instant Snack Mixes into the HORECA / Food Service segment by the introduction of ONE Kg packs of these five Instant Snack Mixes which have been developed through detailed consumer insights and research and was tested and fine tuned through regular customer feedback. The recipes for all these new Vegit range of Instant Snack Mixes has been developed, tested and approved by India's well known Culinary expert Ms. NITA MEHTA. This HORECA / Food Service Pack of the Vegit range of Instant Snack Mixes will have only the main Snack Mix and the accompanying ingredients such as Bread Crumbs and / Batter mix required for making the respective snack will have to be add by the Food Service customer. The complete Vegit range of Instant Snack Mixes will be wholesome containing natural vegetables and will consume and contain lesser oil than the traditional snack foods.
